Who was Father Wenanty Katarzyniec?
Wenanty Katarzyniec, or rather Józef Katarzyniec, was a Polish priest, priest, Conventual Franciscan, novice master of the Franciscan monastery in Lviv and Servant of God of the Catholic Church.

Biography of Father Wenanty
He was born in the village of Obydów in Podolia. Despite financial hardships, he studied first at a faculty school in Radziechów and then at a teachers' seminary in Lviv, taking advantage of scholarships and private lessons. He dreamed of the priesthood and joined the Franciscan Order in Lviv in 1907, where he began his novitiate. Within the order, he distinguished himself for his zealous observance of the rules, his love of poverty, and his humility. He served, among other roles, as master of novices in Lviv. He was known for his deep spirituality, humility, modesty, and love of neighbor. He died at the age of 31 in Kalwaria Pacławska. After his death, the beatification process began, and the Catholic Church recognized him as a Venerable Servant of God.
Wenanty Katarzyniec is an example of a man who fulfilled his calling in everyday life, fulfilling his duties with zeal and love.
He is revered as a model of Franciscan virtue and a reliable intercessor in times of adversity, especially in matters related to work and finances. His life and work inspire many who seek the path to holiness in simplicity and everyday life.
